Patan Durbar Square

Our last stop before the journey to our final destination in the hills was Patan Durbar Square. As you can see I was still very amused by the three wheeled tuk tuks. We stopped at Durbar Square to take in the sights and have lunch. We walked through many tiny back streets into various temples we bought a hand beaten singing bowl made from an alloy of metals which produces unique sounds for healing and ritual purposes – Barry chose this one because he liked the way it sounded when he beat it with the mallet. I then continued working my way through the beer choices in Nepal and chose to help my lunch down with Everest Beer. The view from the restaurant was fantastic and I tried to take it all in.
