Took a road trip to the city of Al Ain. Main attraction is the mountain Jebel Haffet. After seeing the sun go down on the mountain, we had dinner in Al Ain before heading back to Dubai. We were in the middle of the Arabian Desert, had dinner at an Italian pizza place, the pizza was made by a Jordanian and was served to us by a Filipino. The UAE is definitely multicultural. The pizza rated high!
Today the Burj Dubai became the world's tallest skyscraper. It now has the tallest architectural top of any building at 512.1 m height and with 141 floors.

For those worried with energy consumption and all its downsides. When your screen is white, be it an empty word page, or the Google page, your computer consumes 74 watts, and when its black it consumes only 59 watts. Mark Ontkush wrote an article about the energy saving that would be achieved if Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page views, according to his calculations, 750 mega watts/hour per year would be saved. In a response to this article Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but with a lower energy consumption, check it out: http://www.blackle.com/
While you're at it, change your Word page to blue (under your Options/General menu) - saves energy and its easier on the eyes.
Todd and Barry golfing at Al Hamra Fort in RAK. Can you see the mountains in the background? Barry thought this was a really great course and felt seriously pampered. The cart was equipped with a GPS system, a club cleaner, ball cleaner, cooler with bottled water and at the end they got their clubs cleaned for free.
