We decided to take the ferry even though it looked like was going to rain all day - happy we did! A trip along the Bosphorus on the state run Bogazici Ozel Gezi Seferleri ferry. Departing from Eminonu station stopping at Besiktas, Kanica, Yenikoy, Sariyer, Rumeli Kavagi and Anadolu Kavagi. The three hour stop-over at Anadolu Kavagi gave us enough time to climb the hill to the medieval castle built in the Byzantines, have lunch overlooking the town that's famous for its seafood and have a walk around the quaint streets. Seeing the cathedral in the last picture was a big deal for me. I remember seeing it in an e-mail forward before and thought it was beautiful.
