Up and up we drove and we watched the Pajaro’s temperature gauge to see the temperature getting
lower and lower. We found a nice flat spot, kicked out the existing occupants and set up camp. Robyn had of course outdone herself and we were lucky enough to try some of her beef stew and
chocolate oranges. The spot ended up being
cooler than we thought as a very strong
wind picked up in the night and had our tents rustling in the wind. The wind was almost strong enough to carry away the
exhaust from Dunia’s truck as she charged her mobile phone for late-night phone calls.
